About Himachal Highlights

A comfortable classic Himachal journey combining Shimla and Manali with Chandigarh as the arrival / departure gateway, designed with realistic road travel and enough time for the major experiences.

Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1 — Chandigarh – Shimla

Arrive at Chandigarh airport / railway station and drive to Shimla. Check in and keep the evening relaxed. If time permits, walk around Mall Road. Overnight in Shimla.

Day 2 — Shimla & Around

Explore the Ridge, Christ Church and Mall Road. Depending on season and interest, add Kufri, Mashobra or Naldehra. Overnight in Shimla.

Day 3 — Shimla – Manali

Drive to Manali through the Himachal countryside. Stop for suitable viewpoints and breaks en route. Check in and rest. Overnight in Manali.

Day 4 — Manali Local

Visit Hadimba Temple, Old Manali, Vashisht area and selected local attractions. Keep time for cafés, shopping or a relaxed evening. Overnight in Manali.

Day 5 — Solang Valley / Atal Tunnel Experience

Full day for Solang Valley and, subject to weather, road permissions and seasonal access, the Atal Tunnel / Sissu side. Snow activities are seasonal and payable locally unless specifically included. Overnight in Manali.

Day 6 — Manali – Chandigarh

Drive back to Chandigarh. Check in and, depending on arrival time, visit Sukhna Lake or enjoy a relaxed evening. Overnight in Chandigarh.

Day 7 — Chandigarh Departure

Breakfast and transfer to Chandigarh airport / railway station. Rock Garden or other city sightseeing can be added for a late departure.
