Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation charges vary by hotel, airline, supplier, destination, travel period and service. The exact terms confirmed for your booking will always take priority over this general policy.
1. Cancellation Requests
Please send cancellation requests to Drisshya through a written channel such as email or WhatsApp so that the request and time of receipt can be recorded. A cancellation is effective only after it is acknowledged and processed with the relevant supplier.
2. Applicable Cancellation Charges
- Cancellation charges are determined by the confirmed hotel, airline, transport provider, cruise line, activity provider, destination partner, venue or other supplier involved in the booking.
- Peak-season, holiday-period, group, event, promotional, special-rate and non-refundable bookings may carry stricter or 100% cancellation charges from the time of confirmation.
- Flights, visas, insurance, event tickets, attraction tickets, permits and certain special services may be partly or fully non-refundable.
- No-show, late arrival, early departure, unused services or voluntarily skipped services generally do not qualify for a refund unless the relevant supplier approves one.
3. Supplier-Specific Terms Take Priority
The cancellation schedule shown in your quotation, invoice, booking confirmation or supplier confirmation is the applicable schedule for that booking. If different services within one trip have different cancellation rules, each service will be handled under its own rule.
4. Refund Amount
Any approved refund will be calculated after deducting applicable supplier cancellation charges, non-refundable amounts, taxes or charges that cannot be recovered, and any other amount already committed or paid for the booking. Where a service is priced in foreign currency, exchange-rate movement or bank/payment charges may affect the final amount received.
5. Refund Processing Time
Refunds can be initiated by Drisshya only after the relevant supplier confirms the refundable amount or returns the funds where applicable. Processing time therefore depends on the supplier, airline, hotel, bank or payment provider. Once the refundable amount is received/confirmed, we will process it through the appropriate payment channel as reasonably soon as possible.
6. Changes Instead of Cancellation
Date changes, name changes, hotel changes, route changes or postponements are subject to supplier approval, availability and any fare/rate difference or change fee. A change requested by the traveller may be treated by a supplier as cancellation and rebooking.
7. Cancellation or Disruption by a Supplier
If an airline, hotel, transport operator, activity provider or other supplier cancels or materially changes a service, the remedy available will depend on that supplier’s policy and applicable law. We will assist with available alternatives, credits or refund requests, but cannot promise a refund until the supplier confirms it.
8. Force Majeure / Circumstances Beyond Control
For cancellations or disruptions caused by weather, natural events, government restrictions, strikes, safety issues, closures, health emergencies or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, supplier policies will apply. Additional costs for alternative arrangements, extended stays or rebooking may be payable by the traveller unless covered by the supplier or travel insurance.
9. Before You Confirm
Before making payment, please review the cancellation terms stated in your quotation or booking confirmation. If any part is unclear, ask us to explain the applicable cancellation and refund conditions for that specific booking.
